In addition to the published program Jack M. led a walk along the final section of the new Peak District Boundary walk.

As an extra to the published programme I organised a walk along the final section of the Peak District Boundary Walk. This is a new 190 mile long distance path around the edge of the national park. As I had helped to waymark this final section, I thought it would be a good idea to test out my markers. Sandra kindly volunteered to lead the walk.
We started in Whaley Bridge walked via Taxal and the two reservoirs before joining the old railway line near the top of Long Hill. On reaching the old tunnel we headed over the moors before dropping into Buxton via the golf course and the Pavilion Gardens. Most of us had a pub meal in 53 Degrees North before catching the bus back to Whaley.
A pleasant ten mile walk in excellent weather conditions. Many thanks to Sandra for leading the walk and testing out my way marking.
